Our journey so far…

2017

Our founders Max and Dmitry developed an MVP of Novakid, which launched in Poland, Russia and Turkey, with the first lesson taking place on 24 August 2017.

2018

Novakid continued to expand in Eastern Europe. We translated the platform into different languages and hired employees for each new region to service the first 1,000 students.

2019

Novakid expanded into new regions and grew our client base across Europe. In August, Bon Angels invested $750k in Novakid.

2020

Novakid entered MENA and North Africa. In January 2020, we received $1.5M in seed funding, and in December 2020, we raised $4.25M in our Series A funding round from multiple investors.

2021

Novakid attracted over 500,000 clients across 49 countries. We raised $35M in our Series B funding round from the same investors who partnered with us in 2020.

2022

Novakid won the ‘Overall Language Learning Company of the Year’ award in the EdTech Breakthrough Awards.

2023

Novakid is listed at #105 on the Inc 5000 list of the fastest growing companies in America - 1st place in the Education category.

2024

Novakid launched World Kids Academy - our international group speaking practice product - and in September 2024, Novakid acquired Lingumi.

2025

Our plans to revolutionise the market include launching a self-learning app for kids between 2 and 6 years old and an AI tutor that will make English learning more accessible and personalised.
